The PayPortal™ solution involves mounting readers on diggers / harvesters and tags on trucks. As an option scales and storage bins may be RFID enabled and GPS location data may be interfaced with the RFID tags. The chain of data may be transferred from the harvester to the haul truck, to the scale to the storage area. Automating the paper flow electronically greatly facilitates greater product capture as all loads are accounted for. Harvest time is a hectic 6 week period for the agricultural business, and PayPortal™ provides a simplistic method of tracking the product accurately. The return on investment may be gained in less than one harvest period.

In order for the system to work reliably only PayPortal's™ focused beam allows for the truck in front of the reader to be detected. This eliminates side or back read errors of trucks within the vicinity. Also, PayPortal™ RFID tags allow for 100% read rates in dusty and muddy environments, less than ideal conditions.
